My grandpa sent me his former college roommate’s recipe for curry veggies and I’ve been making it lately. ...

Fansplaining
I’m going to coin a term.
“Fansplaining”, from “fan” and “explaining”.
When one attempts to defend a work of art or piece of media from deserved criticism due to racism/sexism/homophobia/etc. within said work, but ultimately fails.
Eh? Eh?
Red Bull Ride & Style (& No Girls) →

What’s missing from the list of riders invited to the 2012 event? Any guesses?
Surprise! The answer is: ladies. There weren’t any invited to last year’s event, either, but the always awesome Devan Mickell went anyway and said she was the only girl. There is an opportunity for non-invited riders to qualify for a track event at a mini-velodrome, so hopefully some of our local...

In the 80s, NASA sent some bees up into space. They did pretty well…but there was this one thing.
No bee went to the restroom.
Bees are obsessive about keeping their hive clean. Since they couldn’t leave the hive to do what needed doing,…
I will never get enough of this show. Have the first two DVDs and thinking about getting the full first season. For the record, this is the only TV show I own on DVD.

Morel Mushroom Hunter's Club →
I seriously love all of these morel hunting places. Weekly if not daily information on where morels are popping up, but web design that’s 5-10 years old. Not that I’d have it any other way!
It rained today, so I’ll probably go check out a few places I have hunches about tomorrow.

Mother Earths hardest I Spy game.
There have been sightings reported all around me and so far I’ve spent four hours in the woods this week. No luck so far.

Dad: I met a lady today with the last name FANGBONER. I tried so hard not to laugh and be calm. As soon as I walked away I lost it!!! I hope I was far enough away from earshot…I hope, I hope!!!
There is a Fangboner street that goes over I-80 somewhere in Ohio. I laugh every time I see it! It’s the highlight of driving through Ohio.

A very happy Mother’s Day to all you mamas out there today! (<- The UK celebrates in March, although I still oscillate between the UK March date and the US May date.)

After Flare Eruption, Geomagnetic Storm Arrives →
If you’re in the northern or mid latitudes and have clear skies, go out tonight (March 8th) and tomorrow (March 9th) and look for an aurora! You might see one. Unfortunately we’re a bit overcast here in Pennsylvania and it’s been raining all day, but maybe it’ll clear up for a bit. I plan on pulling a late night anyhow, so I’ll leave my windows open.

Plans
Hey! So I keep on not doing anything with this blog, except saying what I’m going to be doing with it next. We’ll, there’s one thing for certain, I’m not active in the Dragon Age 2 fandom any more and more than likely there will be no more DA2 art.
What there will definitely be more of, especially as the weather warms up, is pics of stuff I find on walks. This year I...
